If you’re heading to Lake Havasu City for the weekend and need a place to stay, check out Heat Hotel. It’s located in the center of all the action and right by London Bridge.
Lake Havasu City is about a 4.5 hour drive from Orange County. It’s a great getaway if you love the water but want a different vibe (trade the ocean views for lake views).
We stayed in the Ignite Suite (click for link to suite details) – which had a huge balcony and view of the bridge.
The room itself was very spacious – with a king bed and large couch in the seating area, as well as a huge bathroom.
We loved the hotel as well because it’s located right on the water (there’s a dock you can use if you have a boat or are renting one for the weekend). There’s a bar downstairs but it’s also very close to a ton of other restaurants and bars.
I love the ocean but this was a great getaway away from the Orange County beaches while still being by the water. Highly recommend Heat Hotel’s waterfront suites the next time you’re staying in Lake Havasu.
